Excerpt from Field Project:

Effective Implementation and Integration of Technology in Education through Distance Learning

"Technology has made a prominent place in the classroom. There are so many resourceful technologies out there to use in order to support and enhance the learning experience of students of all learning types. The main purpose of this study is to outline the importance of technology in education especially within the tenets of distance education, provide strategic ways to successfully implement technology outside of the traditional classroom, offer methods to integrate the use of technology tools, devices, and applications in the overall learning process, and profile the role of technology in the framework of eLearning. By doing so, this paper aims to express that students must be taught the value of self-directed learning and how it will aid in their use of technology to start, sustain, and further their education."
