About Me

My past experiences have afforded me the opportunity to work and collaborate with a plethora of varying professionals in both secondary and higher education. It is my dream to be able to work in an environment that is dedicated to serving others, creating aggressive strategic teaching methods/effective evaluation, and providing relevant information to enhance the lives of others.

I received my bachelors of arts in Mass Communications from Auburn University December 2009. In the summer of 2013, I was conferred a Masters of Education degree in Instructional Technology from Auburn University Montgomery. I also have an Education Specialist degree in Adult Education from Auburn University with a Graduate Certificate in Extension Education in December of 2015. Currently I am pursuing my Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Adult Education at Auburn University. I am nearing the end of my coursework and preparing to conduct research for my future dissertation with the hopes of completion in spring 2018.

I am a County Extension Agent for the Tuskegee University Cooperative Extension Program and a new mother! In the fall of 2016 I was hired by the First Year Experience Seminar Department to be an instructor at Auburn University teaching a freshman orientation course.

My interest are a culmination of education, technology, multimedia platforms, instructional design, planning events, coordinating on multiple levels, and teaching/instruction. Each section within this ePortfolio is geared toward providing you with more of an in depth understanding of who I am both professionally and academically.
