Synopsis
I am a well versed professional in academia with an extensive background in cooperative extension, higher education, adult education, instructional technology, youth development and oratorical rhetoric. In addition, I am devoted to the tenets of life long learning and enhancement through education, experiential learning opportunities, and knowledge based application. I am also knowledgeable in implementing grant funded programming, adhering to specific federal guidelines/regulations, and administering workforce development initiatives. My expertise include a plethora of experience in extending excellent customer service, conducting workshops/seminars, event coordination & planning, qualitative research, strategic planning, program implementation, curriculum development, and teaching at the university level. My professional and academic background has afforded me the opportunity to work collaboratively with county commissioners, community leaders, key stakeholders, principals, counselors, teachers, professors, administrators, parents and students. As an accomplished administrator, facilitator, and coordinator with almost a decade of operational and leadership experience in challenging, goal-oriented environments, I am prepared to both meet and exceed professional expectations. As Scholarship Advisor I am responsible for reporting and maintaining records related to scholarship applicants, awards, and agreements as well as represent my department at both internal and external functions. In addition, I am tasked with administering scholarship programs for prospective and current students. One of my essential functions is advising on university and department scholarship opportunities, financial aid, and application procedures for Auburn University. Last, I am responsible for selecting appropriate scholarship recipients for the scholarship groups in which I am assigned.

As Youth Extension Agent I was responsible for leading in the implementation of designated extension team projects and/or initiatives that were apart of state and county extension office endeavors. In addition, I had to develop functional partnerships at the county, state, and campus level for the implementation of regularly scheduled educational and other experiential learning activities. I was also tasked with generating resources at the county level to support new and ongoing programs as well as evaluate & prepare timely reports as required by the Extension Administrator to be used as a tool to improve program development and expansion of related activities/programs.
